About CIDTT
Aim:The Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT) is a practice-based qualification for ongoing professional development. It is offered by the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), UK and is a professional teacher certification recognized in 140 countries. The Diploma is intended for full-time or part-time teachers in educational establishments, training organisations and companies. The Diploma is designed to be flexible, so that candidates from a variety of teaching environments have equal opportunity to pursue this course and enhance their academic insight, teaching skills and knowledge of pedagogy.
Approach : The CIDTT, a dynamic teacher development course, is designed on the basis of international best practices in Education. The Diploma syllabus and assignments provide a framework which includes a range of teaching and learning methods making intensive use of technology. It also encourages candidates to be thoughtful and resourceful in their approach to particular learning needs.
Curriculum and Course plan : The four modules of the CIDTT correspond to the key phases in the teaching-learning cycle. Each module comprises of two sub units, which can form the basis for planning professional development programmes leading to the Diploma award. All modules are marked on the basis of its creativity, authenticity and reflective thinking by examiners from the CIE, U.K.
At ITARI, we offer two additional modules to the four modules of the CIDTT. The additional two modules have been developed, keeping in mind, needs of the teacher in India and aim to develop a deeper appreciation of the fundamentals of education and broaden their perspective and world view.

Programme Highlights at ITARI :
Face-to-face sessions: The six modules are covered through 120 hours of classroom based sessions.
One-to-one Mentoring: Expert mentoring support during and after the completion of the course.
Support materials: All candidates receive the required study and support materials for the course. The candidates will have access to the ITARI library for reference work.

Graduate degree from a recognized University.
